CIC/HCM Asset Management, Inc. is the result of a recent combination of two established independent investment advisory firms based in Los Angeles and Honolulu. Following the successful merger of CIC Asset Management, Inc. and HCM Capital Management, Inc. in February of 2000, CIC/HCM currently provides both large cap value equity and a range of fixed income strategies to institutional investors. With over $600 million in assets under management, CIC/HCM is an independent, 100% minority-owned business entity with headquarters in Los Angeles.

Mr. Waiolama, the firm's Quantitative Analyst and Manager - Systems Development, assists Mr. Hirai with investment research and is responsible for the development and maintenance of all computer applications for the firm. He co-developed CIC/HCM's fixed income security and portfolio analytic systems and provides computer support for client reporting programs. Mr. Waiolama had been associated with Denney and Denney, Inc. since 1987 as a Quantitative Analyst and Programmer where he was responsible for development and enhancement of the firm's quantitative equity analysis system and other computerized research applications. Mr. Waiolama received an Associates of Arts degree in Computer Sciences in 1987 from the University of Hawaii system.
